March is Brain Injury Awareness Month!

We need YOUR help in raising important awareness about this silent epidemic. Join the More Than My Brain Injury campaign and help us educate others about what it’s like to be affected by brain injury. By sharing your story or sharing the campaign you are helping to:

                • Increase understanding of brain injury as a chronic condition
                • Reduce the stigma associated with having a brain injury
                • Showcase the diversity of injury and the demographics of the community
                • Improve care and support for individuals with brain injury and their families

Many people with disabilities have their lives defined for them. The More Than My Brain Injury campaign gives individuals a chance to overcome those definitions, allowing them to tell their own stories and change the narrative of their lives.

Share your story with us, the BIA-USA story wall, your local community through editorial or radio, and your personal community through your social media channels.

Speakers Bureau
No matter how brain injury affects you, this group invites all those affected by brain injury to participate in spreading awareness to the public in hopes of educating others about brain injury. The members of the Speakers Bureau lend their voices to BIA-MA court related and school aged programs and speak with civic groups, clubs, schools, and others interested in learning more about brain injury.
