Education
Speakers Bureau – BIA MA Ambassador Program
Need a speaker to educate your civic group, corporation, association, or event about the cause and prevention of brain injuries? We have many staff members and volunteers who are eager to spread the word about the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts, our mission and goals, prevention programs and advocacy efforts. In fact, many of our speakers are brain injury survivors or family members who willingly share their personal and powerful stories of recovery and hope.
Every story of brain injury is unique and dynamic and can be tailored to your organization’s timeline and audience.
Available speaking topics include:
  • Brain Injury Survivor’s Personal Story
  • Brain Injury overview
  • Head Injuries and the Elderly
  • Preventing Brain Injuries
  • Sports Concussions
  • Pediatric Brain Injury
  • Brain Injury Association’s history and mission
  • And many others!
“I told a real-life story that a lot of people could relate to,”
- former Ambassador Program speaker Steve Machnik
The experience helped him with his recovery and helped others better understand the challenges and consequences of brain injury.
