BIA-MA is committed to educating the public about brain injury and empowering survivors and their families to live the fullest lives possible.

The association sponsors an annual conference for medical providers, survivors and their families, professional workshops, family & survivor workshops and trainings through the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS), as well as other events throughout the year.

In addition, BIA-MA is a member of the Veterans Consortium and reaches out to soldiers, returning from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars with brain injuries, and their families.
