"One Split Second” DVD Toolkit
How do you instill the realities of risky driving in teenagers? How do you impress upon them that their decisions made behind the wheel can have life long consequences?
The KEYS (Keep Every Youth Safe) Tool Kit is specifically designed by the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts (BIA-MA) to educate new drivers about the potential consequences of unsafe driving behaviors, such as speeding, distracted driving, seatbelt use, et cetera. Traumatic brain injury is the leading cause of death and disability for teens and young adults. Forty percent of these injuries result from car crashes, many of which are preventable!
The Tool Kit is based upon our KEYS program, which is a recommended resource to fulfill Module 14 of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles Driver Education Curriculum and has been hailed as a “powerful” and “effective” way to reach young adults in driver education schools.
