CARE Partner Strategies: Verbal and Nonverbal Aspects of Communication

Description: Join our care partner group to learn about the brain and the best
strategies to support your loved one build cognitive-communication skills to
improve independence, safety, and function. We will also review resources
and share support.

  • All sessions are led by Amy Karas, MS, CCC-SLP, CBIS/T. Amy is a neuro SLP
    and certified brain injury specialist with 25+ years’ experience running
    groups with individuals with acquired brain injury and other neurological

  • You can attend one or all of the sessions.
