Who We Are:
The Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts (BIA-MA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that was incorporated in 1982. BIA-MA has become a national leader in assuring that persons with brain injury and their families have increased access to services.

To create a better future for individuals with brain injury and their families through advocacy, education, prevention, research and support.
Our Vision:
To create a pathway for those impacted by brain injury to receive the right information, the right services, and the right support at the right time.
Our Longstanding Partnership with Numbers for Nonprofits and the Falmouth Road Race:
We have been proudly partnering with Numbers for Nonprofits and the Falmouth Road Race for 13 years. Since BIA-MA began participating in the Falmouth Road Race, our runners have raised over $225,000 on behalf of our organization.
BIA-MA is also gratefully sponsoring the Falmouth Road Race in 2026. Doing so offers our organization the opportunity to exhibit at the Falmouth Road Race Health Expo during race weekend and to help spread awareness of our mission and the great programs we provide – all while supporting an event we love. This year we have 29 dedicated runners on our Falmouth Road Race team who have committed to fundraise and to raise awareness.
